Have a Ferrari. Rant to follow...
About three weeks ago, my four year old pup had two seizures. The vet ran some tests and fast forward to now, he’s had four seizures this week. It’s a painful thing to watch and quite upsetting for everyone, me, my wife, and especially my son.
It required creative saving, as each section is its own file, and to save as a PDF was a couple of extra clicks. I think I got a pretty good deal for $25. 1300 individual files that I now need to either index or combine.
Some nice Toyotas at the rink today. First up, this clean Cruiser.
When I first wanted a Challenger, I wanted it in Sublime Green in 2015. Test drove a Scat Pack, and ended up with a Tacoma. If I actually got a Challenger, it would have to be in a bold inyourface color. Either this, or the Go Mango they also had with a Shaker. My son and I drove by the dealership on the way back from…
It’s pretty scuffed up, but it’s free for the taking.
Can any other midsizers be optioned to over $60k? I’m too lazy to build any. I think a ZR2 Bison makes it into the mid $50k. That’s also not a markup, it has $18k in options on top of its $43k base price.
Pricey 4Runner. This one has popped up on CL a few times. Apparently the owner has been in the process of moving across the country for quite a while, now, as it’s the same ad everytime. Regardless, it looks sparkly clean, as well it should, for its $9800 asking price.
Driven to the hockey rink by some Russian coaches doing power skating sessions with some older kids.
I’m researching my future suspension setup, and have stumbled across Dobinsons as what appears to be a reasonable option. Since my 4Runner is still also a DD (although the commuting mileage will drop significantly next month) I’m not going absurd with tires or lift.
Now, what to wrap them with, and what size. 285s and a lift, methinks.
Looks really clean. Yeah, yeah, 305, blah. I’ve always been a Mustang guy but I bet this would still be fun. Plus...T Tops! The interior is super clean.
Well, I hit 5000 miles on the 4Runner, which meant it was time to visit the dealer for ToyotaCare appt #1. While there, I did some window shopping on the 2 “I25 Custom” 4Runners they had in the showroom.
Including the TRD Pro wheels. I just warned my wife that I’ll be ordering wheels this week. Hmm, what else should I put in the cart?
I really hate how as I get older, my propensity to drunk shop and buy automotive stuff decreases. I must not be drinking enough.
Went to the Denver Auto Show today to kill some time with my son. The Gladiator still looks long in person. I’d like to see it parked with other crew cabs to check out the visual differences.
One of my favorite features of the Tundra CrewMax is also one of my favorites of the 4Runner, the rull down rear window. With the moonroof open, it adds to the fun. No, exhaust doesn’t get sucked in, and no I don’t open it on dirt roads. The pup loves it, too.
It may not be a fastback, but still a car I would like. Boring old ‘65 Mustang with a 289, auto. Looks clean except for the rear wheel well rust. Alas, while it’s a fair deal (8k), it’s above my budget.
So I have a 2019 4Runner. I do not have a project car. I now have a project.
This will conclude the Bomb Cylcone updates from the house of the Huzers. I shoveled, it was heavy wet snow. Thankfully, I didn’t die, and the beer is nice and cold, so all is good. There was about a 2-3’ drift in the driveway to add to the fun. Right now, it’s just windy and not snowing. I shall now have another beer.
